Built with Grace topics can be adapted to your church events, whether that be a worship service, retreat, banquet or workshop setting.

When Grace Isn’t Enough

The Bible is very clear that God’s wonderful Grace is all we need to get through the struggles of life. What happens when life seems to be more than even God’s grace can handle. How do we cope when those who are supposed to be the purveyors of God’s Grace seem to be our biggest obstacles? When Grace Isn’t Enough takes a hard look at how Church-ianity deals with the gray areas of scripture. This topic can be presented as stand alone teaching sessions, or within a retreat setting.

Sub-topics under 'When Grace Isn't Enough' include: Amazingly Graceless; Living in Grace Despite My Past; Living in Grace When Caught in Sin; Living in Grace When Opposed by Others and Living in Grace When God Seems Silent. Amazingly Graceless can also be presented in a shorter, stand-alone teaching session.

The March of the Happy People

Like one who takes away a garment on a cold day, or like vinegar poured on soda is one who sings songs to a heavy heart. Proverbs 25:20

The March of the Happy People takes an intimate look at the emotions involved when a person struggling with their faith is met with the always sunshiny ‘Church-ianity’ attitude. Participants are shown that it is okay to struggle at times with their faith, and that sometimes our ‘joy in the Lord’ is seen by others as anything BUT joyful.

[“The March of the Happy People” is designed as a single presentation appropriate for banquets, worship services or other ‘single service’ events.]

The Day Peter Learned Love

The Day Peter Learned Love is a look at the final days of Christ’s ministry on earth through the eyes of his most colorful disciple. A mix of humor and emotion follows Peter through Holy Week where he learns the hard lesson that none of us are as strong as we think we are.

[The Day Peter Learned Love can be presented as a monologue/drama, or as a teaching session within a banquet, special event or worship service setting.]

Sifted As Wheat

“Sifted As Wheat” is a study is based on the stories of two men in Scripture.  In Job we have a man that was openly impressive to God, who pointed him out to Satan as being a man of exemplary Character.

In Peter we have a man that at times was a bumbling, outspoken idiot and at other times a rock of faith and character.

What happens when things to wrong? How does each man handle the adversity? How does God justify His actions? What is the end result?

Sifted As Wheat” leads participants in discovering the hard way that there are consequences for sin, and that sometimes bad things happen to good people. Whether our struggles are a result of our own bad choices, we serve God that forgives us and offers ‘do-overs’.

[“Sifted As Wheat can be presented as a series of lessons, a single (summary) lesson, or in a retreat setting.]
